ABOUT US
Intercepting Premature Deaths
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower individuals and families in North Texas by raising awareness of heart disease and hypertension, managing genetic risk factors, and promoting healthier lifestyle choices to build stronger communities and improve overall quality of life.
Did You Know...?
Heart disease remains the leading cause of death for women, with many unaware of the genetic risks like elevated lipoprotein(a) levels, which significantly increase cardiovascular risk.
At Health Lore Community Outreach, we work to create a community where every individual has the knowledge, resources, and support to prevent heart disease and hypertension, leading to a future free from preventable health disparities and premature deaths.
Our Services
We currently offer Lp(a) Testing and education about Blood Pressure Awareness by appointment.
We also host lifestyle workshops that include but are not limited to:
-
Genetic Risks and Heart Health: Understanding Lp(a)
